Drywall Repairs
Cracks, holes, water damage, and bad patches fixed so well you'll forget where they were.
From a doorknob hole to a full ceiling water-damage repair, we fix drywall properly: cut out the bad section, replace with new board where needed, tape, mud over three coats, sand smooth, prime, and blend the paint into the surrounding wall.

How we do it
- 1
Diagnose
We find the cause — settling, plumbing leak, impact — so the repair actually lasts.
- 2
Cut & patch
Clean square cut, new drywall fastened to backing, mesh or paper tape on every seam.
- 3
Mud & sand
Three coats of compound, feathered wide, sanded between coats.
- 4
Prime & blend
Spot prime and paint-blend so the repair disappears into the wall texture and sheen.

Common questions
- What does a small drywall repair cost?
- Small repairs — a doorknob hole, a few cracks, popped nails — are flat-rate, so you know the number before we start. Larger work like a water-damaged ceiling gets a written quote after we've seen it. Either way you get a price in writing rather than an hourly surprise.
- Can you match my existing wall texture?
- Yes. We match orange peel, knockdown, and smooth walls, then spot-prime and blend the paint into the surrounding surface so the repair disappears into both the texture and the sheen. A patch that's flat and smooth but visible in side light isn't a finished repair.
- Will you need more than one visit?
- Most repairs are done in a single visit. Larger patches need drying time between the three coats of compound, so a big ceiling repair may need a return trip — we'll tell you which it is when we quote.
- My ceiling stain came from a leak. Will it just come back?
- Not if the cause is fixed first. We diagnose the source — settling, a plumbing leak, roof, impact — before patching, and if the leak is still active we'll coordinate with your plumber or roofer rather than sealing the damage up over a live problem.
- Someone already patched it badly. Can you fix that?
- Yes, and it's a common call. A bad patch usually means untaped seams or compound feathered too narrowly, both of which telegraph through paint. We cut back to a clean square, tape every seam properly, and feather the compound wide enough that the repair reads flat.
- Do you repaint the whole wall after the repair?
- Not always necessary — on a textured or mid-tone wall, a blended spot-prime and touch-up is usually invisible. On a large repair, or a wall with a flat sheen and a lot of light across it, painting corner to corner is the only way to guarantee no flashing. We'll tell you which your wall needs.
