PrepPrimePaint.ca is a local residential painting company based in Richmond Hill. We founded it to solve two problems. Getting a painting price meant chasing painters, waiting on a callback and sitting through a visit just to hear a number — so our price is online, and you can have it in about a minute. And too many paint jobs cut corners on preparation, the very stage that dictates the long-term value and durability of your investment — so we named the company after it.

I’m Dylan.
Paint is chemistry, and what it bonds to decides whether a finish lasts two years or ten. That’s the half of this trade most people skip — and it’s why the company is named after prep rather than paint.
I’m obsessive about optimizing things. Most painting quotes still run on phone tag and a visit you have to be home for, so I put the pricing online instead: answer a few questions about your place and you have a real number in about a minute. The same instinct runs the job itself — the order of the prep, where the drop sheets land, what gets put back before I leave.
I stay small on purpose. Book me and I’m the one in your home, and mine is the number you call.

Our name reflects our process: prep, prime, and paint, in that order, every single time. Sanding, filling, caulking, and priming aren't add-ons we charge extra for; they are the job itself. By the time the actual color hits the wall, the hard work is already behind us.
Staying small is what keeps it that way: no subcontractor surprises, no "the boss said something different", no chasing down change orders. We work for you, personally.
